The details
Erongo schorl has a dry, matte charcoal surface scored with deep parallel striations — it photographs dark but reads almost architectural in person. We select blocky, stable pieces that sit flat without a stand.
Black tourmaline is the boundary stone: traditionally placed at entryways and beside workstations as a grounding presence. If you keep one crystal by the front door, it is this one.
Raw schorl sheds tiny flakes when first handled. Give yours one rinse and a pat dry when it arrives and it will settle.

What owners say
Exactly as photographed
The grading system is real. Color is identical to the listing and the piece sits perfectly on my shelf. The origin card is a lovely touch.

Better in person
Photos are honest but stone has so much more depth in daylight. Packaging was immaculate — double-boxed with linen wrap.

Third order, never disappointed
I collect from several shops and this is the only one where I never gamble on quality. Shipping to Germany took two days.
